Hey, I’m Paul!
I’m from Austria and I came to LA to be an actor. I grew up in a small village with a younger brother and moved to Vienna when I was 19 after finishing my service as an EMT with the Red Cross. I worked a bunch of jobs including a small movie theater and picking up electric scooters to charge after dark. I studied theater, film and media science for a while, but didn’t enjoy the course so I applied to film school. During the last round of admissions I came to the realization that this also wasn’t right and that I wanted to try acting. I met up with a director I found on google and we had a lesson together. I asked her if she thought I had any talent, she said yes and I decided to make this my new pursuit.
I applied to Juilliard but fell asleep during the auditions, got rejected (obviously), found CalArts, got in, moved to LA and I’m graduating in May 2025. I’m incredibly thankful for the time I’ve had at this eccentric and wonderful school and I’m ready to dive into the life of a working actor.
